Where the river TEVERE touches the walls of the island, the stone speaks of time. In the porous layers of the travertine lies the echo of past centuries – drawn by water, bleached by the sun, touched by the wind. TEVERE grows out of this quiet language of matter: a coffee table in clear, calm forms, cast in GF concrete, translating the soul of the stone into a new material. The water is gone, but its traces remain. In the surface of the concrete the idea of permanence lives on – resistant to climate and time. The TEVERE series is a homage to Rome and to the river that flows on while everything else passes.
