The Sandstone variant of HORIZON takes up the same idea of the horizon but shifts it into a cooler, mist-wrapped morning hour – when fine haze lies over the landscape and contours appear softer, almost blurred. The powdery, slightly rough surface structure recalls frost-covered sandstone of the kind found on natural stone on early winter mornings. Instead of clear lines, a muted, almost atmospheric texture emerges here that does not reflect the light but absorbs and diffuses it. So the same sculptural idea becomes a calmer, more introverted interpretation of the same moment in nature – the horizon in fog instead of in clear morning light.
